Leisure Pool

The leisure pool is the one most people will actually use. It is planned at 11,700 square feet and held between 86 and 88°F — warm enough for a toddler’s first lesson, for warm-water aerobics, and for someone working back from an injury.

A zero-depth entry means no ladder and no lip to climb over: a parent with a stroller, a child who has never been in a pool, and a member using a wheelchair all get in the same way. Three walkable lanes run 25 yards at four feet deep, with shallow areas stepping down to three, two and one foot. Fountains, a lazy river and an indoor/outdoor slide are part of the plan.
